It was great to celebrate World Refugee Week today, and welcome Nasir to Parliament to share his experience with me.
Nasir, who left Afghanistan with his family last year as the Taliban were surging across the country, has settled in Eastleigh.
Nasir is extremely skilled, speaks fluent English, and has settled into the UK with his family with thanks to the International Rescue Committee.
I am honoured to have him as a constituent, and look forward to supporting him, his family, and other refugees who bring so much to our country.
