Iam really pleased the Government has made £1.3 million in funding available for a maritime project in Eastleigh.
This project is looking to develop an electric hydro-foiling high-speed trimaran (multihull boat), capable of carrying up to forty people on coastal routes, from Cowes to Southampton, and Hythe to Southampton, removing traffic from the roads and providing a new and exciting local mode of travel.
I look forward to seeing how this project gets on, and I welcome the local investment to bring jobs, expertise, and enterprise to Eastleigh!
