This afternoon I met the residents at Folland Court in Hamble for a cup of tea and a chat about some of the local issues that were of concern to them.
The continued overdevelopment of the area was raised several times and I share resident's sadness at the way the current Borough Council continues to build more housing than required by targets and concrete over green fields. Road safety was another issue that was raised and this is often a symptom of the excessive housing development. I'll be taking both issues up and will report back in due course. A pleasure to meet everyone!
