Yesterday night I had the pleasure of presenting a constituent with an award for his work at an awards ceremony in London.
The awards recognised outstanding achievements across several categories, including innovation, teamwork, and community impact and I was delighted to present an award to the winner of the Rising Star of the Year, Mitchell Haskett, a young electro-mechanical technician, who works in the local area.
Saab UK’s site in Fareham benefits 400 jobs, in established and future roles, across various business activities related to underwater robotics and Sensor Systems.
