I thoroughly enjoyed stopping by the Parliament Shed today. There are over 1,000 sheds across the country, and we have three men's sheds in Eastleigh. They are vitally important as a space for recreation, to learn hobbies like woodworking, and as a place to meet new people. It was great to visit Eastleigh Mens Shed last year and see the work they have done making flower troughs for the community, and to meet the talented and welcoming members there.
The sheds are also a great place to share personal thoughts and feelings in a safe non-judgemental environment and are a great place to talk over some tea and banter.
