I was delighted to visit Asda in Eastleigh this week to tour the store and meet the team to hear about the work they have been doing for the local community.
I was very interested to hear about their Investing in Spaces and Places Grants which are financial contributions to development, repair and/or regeneration projects, which you can read more about here: https://www.asdafoundation.org/stories/funding-announcements/investing-…
It was also really good to hear that Asda has been working with FareShare to donate surplus food to charity to ensure food is not wasted.
Finally, I was really touched to learn that Asda has donated £100,000 to UNICEF to support their efforts to provide aid to victims. The donation will fund emergency shelter supplies, water sanitation and hygiene kits for those in need.

Thanks again to the team at Asda!
