On Saturday, I held a street surgery in Botley and also spent the morning talking to local people in Hedge End. My team and I were delivering a copy of my latest survey so that I can hear more about the issues that are of concern to residents.

In May I attended the unveiling of a mosaic to commemorate the sailing of the Mayflower to the New World in 1620.

On Wednesday I drew attention to the amazing work of the Hamble Lifeboat and asked the Prime Minister what more can be done to support independent lifeboat stations.  Hamble Lifeboat responds to over 100 incidents each year in the Solent, which is one of the UK's busiest waterways.
